Aims and objectives

This half-day course aims to provide delegates with a basic understanding of fire safety in relation to their workplace.

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Understand the principles of fire safety.
• Know what their responsibilities are and how to assist the employer to manage fire safety.
  
• Know how fire starts and what to do to prevent it from starting.
• Know what to do in the event of a fire.

This is an essential course for all employees in every workplace.

Employers are required to provide necessary training and supervision to all employees in relation to fire safety.
