Aims and objectives

This two-day HSE accredited course will provide an update to the knowledge of those employees who have previously completed a HSE accredited First Aid at Work training course. First aiders who hold a certificate that has expired by more than 28 days must complete a full First Aid at Work training course.

Intended for

First aiders who wish to renew a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.

Why choose this course?

Every first aider who completed the First Aid at Work Certificate must renew their qualification before the original certificate expires by more than 28 days. Failure to do so means that they are no longer accredited to provide first aid in the workplace.

Course content

This course provides an update and refresher to the skills learnt on the First Aid at Work training course. This course will prepare you for the assessments on the final day of the course.

The final day of this course contains three practical assessments. Upon successful completion, each delegate will be awarded with an HSE accredited certificate that enables them to practice first aid in the workplace for a period of three years before requalification is required.
